Après des études de violoncelle, Marie-Laure Teissèdre s’est formée comme chef de choeur auprès de Michel Corboz au Conservatoire de Genève et comme chef d’orchestre au Conservatoire de Lausanne. Des artistes et pédagogues jalonnent sa formation professionnelle tels que Eric Ericson, Noëlle Barker, Margreet Honig, Hervé Klopfenstein ou Maarten Koningsberger. Cela l’a conduit à développer sa propre pédagogie qui combine travail vocal corporel et théâtral et qui s’adresse principalement aux jeunes chanteurs.

Elle a développé sa carrière et collaboré avec Jean-Claude Malgoire et William Christie au Centre de musique baroque de Versailles, Louis Langrée à l’Opéra National de Lyon.

Elle a également travaillé avec des grands chefs comme Serge Baudo, Marc Minkowski, Paul Mac Creesh dans le cadre de divers festivals en France et à l’étranger. Son goût de l’expérimentation l’amène à partager et interpréter les créations de compositeur(rices)s tels que Richard Dubugnon, Kaija Saariaho.. Mais aussi à s’associer avec la chorégraphe Dominique Hervieu pour un spectacle à l’Auditorium de Lyon.

Depuis septembre 2016, elle enseigne la musique vocale de chambre aux étudiants en chant, au sein du Conservatoire National Supérieur de Lyon.

After first studying the cello, Marie-Laure Teissèdre went on to train as a choral conductor with Michel Corboz at the Geneva Conservatory and as an orchestral conductor at the conservatory in Lausanne. Eric Ericson, Noëlle Barker, Margreet Honig, Hervé Klopfenstein and Maarten Koningsberger are some of the many artists and professors with whom she studied at various times. The personal training approach she has developed as a result combines vocal training as such with physical preparation and drama techniques and is mainly aimed at younger singers. As her career proceeded she worked with Jean-Claude Malgoire and William Christie at the Centre de Musique Baroque in Versailles and with Louis Langrée at the Opéra National de Lyon. Other well-known conductors she has worked with at various festivals in France and elsewhere include Serge Baudo, Marc Minkowski and Paul McCreesh. Her taste for new musical experiences has led her to share and perform the works of composers such as Richard Dubugnon and Kaija Saariaho, and also to collaborate with choreographer Dominique Hervieu for a performance at the Auditorium de Lyon. She has been teaching vocal chamber music to students at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Lyon since September 2016.
